We are looking for new parents to become champions for other parents on our new governing body, the Academy Advisory Committee.
Over the autumn term, Cuckoo Hall Academy’s Rapid Improvement Board will be transferring its functions over to an Academy Advisory Committee so we’re looking to appoint three new parent governors.
Joining the Academy Advisory committee as a parent governor offers you the opportunity to make a contribution to the life and work of the academy.
Specialist advisors will lead on and chair termly education scrutiny which will involve a day spent in school analysing the data, reviewing and moderating our assessments and identifying gaps in pupil performance and attainment.
The role of our parent governors is to help us drive forward better communication, better parental engagement and outreach and develop stronger community links. Whilst co-opted governors will lead on the vital role of resolving parental complaints and exclusion panels, parent governors will support them with this.
