The most recent Ofsted inspection graded the school as ‘good’ in every category.
Join us and you will provide support across the teaching community and key stages to raise standards of Literacy at Heron Hall. You will liaise with external educational networks to develop best practice in school as well as set up and manage sessions of sharing excellent practice. You will also use suitable classroom practice to deliver courses and create a pleasurable and stimulating learning environment for students. You will present subject content using a variety of teaching approaches, as well as set appropriate home and course work. We will look to you to motivate students and sustain their interest. Important too will be the ability to maintain an awareness of local and national contexts and changes affecting the subject.
You must possess a relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification as well as be able to demonstrate knowledge of national initiatives being implemented in the subject. You will have experience of teaching and be comfortable planning, implementing and evaluating the subject curriculum including appropriate assessment methods
